Maria formed in 2003 in Oxnard. As the first 7" on the new YAY! label, MARIA released "Oh Victoria", backed with "I Remember What It Was To Feel" and "I Should Be Dead" in May 2006. With the YAY! Fanzine (YAY!3, April 2007) came the 5": "I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts". The next 7", "Friends Forever" (YAY!4), was released May 2007. After two years(!), a new single, "Love Is Something I Know Nothing About" (YAY! 10) was released Summer 2009. The group officially came to an end 2009. www.myspace.com/mariamusic
